The Jardin Dumaine in Luçon in Vendée is a public garden. It was created by Pierre Hyacinthe Dumaine, doctor, who was concerned with the beautification of his town of Luçon. The Dumaine garden is a very pleasant place to photograph, because you alternate between wide alleys to find yourself in the shaded paths.
There is a large alley of yews, cut in the shape of a pyramid, dating from 1830. This alley will lead you to a green theater. This garden covers an area of 4 ha. It was ceded to the city of Luçon in 1872 by Mr. Dumaine. There are several water rooms and ponds, a bandstand built in 1907.
There is a wooded area as well as topiaries. There is also a beautiful orangery dating from 1875.
The professional photo report of the Jardin Dumaine for the APJV was produced by Stéphane GROSSIN Professional B2B photographer.
