This park and garden photo report concerns the Chabotterie in Saint-Sulpice-le-Verdon, an 18th century manor house. It is a French-style garden, with its medicinal plants, walled garden, vegetable patch and orchard. It is more of a pleasure garden where utility and beauty are combined in which people can enjoy and relax.

Around the garden of the Logis de la Chabotterie, there is a bocage environment, a wood crossed by a large bridle path with a green course ideal for walks. The garden of the Logis de la Chabotterie was the site of General Charette’s arrest in 1796.
